From the terminal server… 

  1. Click Start > in the search box type “associate”, then hit Enter (file association window will open).
  2. In the window, scroll down to find .pdf  in the list.
  3. Click on .pdf > click the Change Program button.


  4. We offer two choices for viewing PDFs: Foxit Reader or Adobe Reader. Select the option you prefer and follow the remaining steps...

    Option 1: Click Foxit Reader from the recommended programs list > click OK button > click Close button
    Option 2: Click on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from the recommended programs list > click OK button > click Close button

    NOTE: if you do not see "Foxit Reader" or "Adobe Reader" listed, go to step 5
  5. [OPTIONAL]
    Foxit Reader: Click the Browse button and Copy/Paste the following path into the “File name” input box
    Path = C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\FoxitReader.exe

    Adobe Acrobat Reader DC: Click the Browse button and Copy/Paste the following path into the “File name” input box
    Path = C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
